Well, the big storm is here… supposed to snow all night this time and the people south and a bit east are to get big snow and big wind… so far we aren’t getting all that wind but we have already gotten half of the predicted and am guessing the prediction might have been a bit short here?
But first 2 days ago this is what it looked like early in the day..
It is called Bald Mountain, just north of the house… oh and I am guessing it may be where the bears live as we have had multiple reports of the bear within a few blocks of our house by neighbors… haven’t seen it myself yet but I don’t get out early nor late, so to speak…
Aimed the other way… it was heavy and wet but not a huge amount…
The sign before this drop says 14%… but it is only a quarter mile or so… down then right back up… and they though the road where we lived in Duncan was camel back?
Wit the snow, again, I have had time to get the can projects back out and made a few humming birds with spinning wings… Got several more ready and a few to cut out tomorrow since it will be snowed out…
Feel sorry for the real birds, we have had several out and heard them buzzing around so I put the feeder out… ooops!
It’s dark , still coming down pretty good and that is about 5 inches on the top rail… have had some melting but that has slowed down with colder temps and not just adding up… Early it was really wet and slushy.
The weather people predicted 6 to 11 inches here… at this rate???? likely to be more like 11 to 18 inches? But hey, great sleeping weather…
