Tower followup

Well, it rained 1.49 inches yesterday (according to my WX station). That stopped all outside activity for yesterday and today. Today was nice outside but way too wet. Tried to do a few things but in the mud???? so gave up on that. Got a call that the tower should be done… finally. now to get it over here and wait till I can get it put up… oh well, looks like a job for next time home.
Still no radio today. Spent most of the day reading stock info and doing stock research for my limited investments. set up some buys , sells, and checks for later. Of course i do my stocks on limits both ways… I seem to be more focused these days on dividend paying stocks. Great if you can pick a good divi stock and one that jumps in value $NS,$KGS, most just float up and down. Although most of my good picks are MLP’s they pay good, the tax hassle is manageable and some (if you pick them at the right time) do increase in value. I am guessing that natural resource stocks will be good picks for some time, but again that is mostly a guess.
Spent most of yesterday working on this blog getting plugins working and learning new stuff about it and twitter – and adding twitter follows etc. Not sure all this technology is a good thing but it is the way things are and I was doing some of this before most people knew what internet was… packet radio in the mid 80’s and running a BBS was the thing. Doing email via radio and tweets the same way.
