Sleeping does not seem to be a big problem other than the bed is hard with big “divits” in the middle of each side and I can’t stay in bed more than 5 or 6 hours and the pain kicks in so I have to get up and do something. We got up a little late (I thought) but seems everyone pretty much was sleeping in. We went to breakfast and there was not much of a line but the line got a lot bigger by 10:30.
I made a quick walking tour of the ship (Carnival victory official page) from front to back in all the open areas. Since we had stopped to help a stranded fishing boat. This is what we saw of the boat. Seems the engines died and would not restart.
“Stranded fishing vessel between St. Thomas and Barbados”
Here they are bringing the stranded crew over as they could not get the boat to run and below they are making another trip back to get the rest of the crew in one of the life boats.

I was going to get pictures of the rest of the ship later but when I remembered later when we were up there it was real windy and took my hands to stand up and hang on. Ha!. The wind was bad at the top but not on our deck, as strange as that seems.
Note yesterday I posted the link to the Cruise ship page with his all the pictures and layout you need to see what we are seeing.
Since this is a day at sea the ships public areas are packed, the food lines are packed, it is difficult to move around a lot but we made several trips around the ship. I might lose weight if I stayed on the ship much as I choose to do the stairs rather than wait for the elevators that take forever to get to you. Well, I might lose weight if I would cut down on the eating but man they keep putting the food out and I keep helping myself to it.
This is our state-room, with balcony:
“The balcony with the interconnect door open to the kids room – made it easy for Ethan to come see us.”
We had a relaxing day. Sherrie got a Pedicure special and I took a nap. We then got all dressed up in our suits and went to dinner. The food here is good for the most part but way too much as evidenced by many people who have gone beyond Obese. They partake of every eating stop at every meal! I was afraid to even take pictures of some but suffice to say – they were huge and I still wonder how they got into the rooms?
As I said we were all dressed up for Dinner:
At dinner the waiters had to sing a couple of songs in the main dining room.
An tonight’s towel decoration was a sea monster?
So we ended another day and will be in Barbados tomorrow.
