It occurred to me as I had taken the old Barn picture that there were also houses and Homes in that same condition. My thoughts were, that many years ago someone had a big dream and maybe it came to fruit and maybe not? With out knowing anymore than just taking the pictures, you can’t even guess if they had made their dream or lost it all? The House we see are rapidly falling down, why? I can guess that most were very outdated and fixing was more expensive than building in a better spot, but what if many of them just never made it and had to move on and leave it all behind? Most in the areas I was in I suspect they never made it and these are the dreams left behind. Just thoughts about what you see. – WD0AJG
This one was used not too long ago – “But Ma it has a grill for cooking outside!”
I found it was not only the houses and barns but some towns have fallen by the way… Those towns once thriving concerns are now, hanging on by a thread.
They have not had a movie here for some time, although since it is in pretty good shape I would suspect they the town uses it for gathering?
