We have been way busy since we got here in Perth. I have been here a little over 24 hours and had several meetings and walked a facility with numerous things to fix. To the point of seeing any sites… Well what can you see when your working? We do however walk to the office so that gave a small opportunity to see some of the downtown sites. I found it very interesting that in the downtown area there are numerous old churches and a few buildings that are from an earlier era. Not all the old buildings have been torn down and replaced with the modern city ones. Here are a few of the things that build a huge contrast in the downtown.
It is called the Bell Tower across from the office building and open park that opens to a bay.
One of the many churches and old buildings left in the middle of new high rise buildings.
Although not a church I believe this is an old bank left in-between to new high rise buildings of glass.
This is an entrance to one that actually sets behind the one above.

Ok, this is not a building… you can tell that right? but it is a contrast just the same… I have seen several of the “contrasting” people here? Not sure the linkage but could be a member of those on “walk-about” for life? – WD0AJG
