Well I have spent the last couple of days working on my taxes.  All I can think about is that old saying of “there is nothing more sure than Death and Taxes”… I say “there is nothing more sure than Taxes will be Death of us”… What an absolute mess they have become.  The “less well off” people have no idea how to take advantage of all the loopholes and work a rounds… the middle of the “road bunch” (I think I may be in this group), can’t find enough of those advantages to not pay more than our fair share… The well off (those that can hire specialists) get to take advantage of most of the good loopholes… and the politicians keep getting paid
