It was damned hot again today… I did get out early and finished off the mowing and trimming, and sprayed the grass back from all the edges that it is creeping into… I also picked another tub full of tomatoes from the upper areas but the raised box just is like last year, no tomatoes at all but did get two yellow squash from there… so not a total wash out… other than that it was a regular day, did a little work for the company, but need to do a lot more in the next few days to get my last months expenses ready and sent in…
After the mowing I swapped out the “hitch-packer” and took the gas cans to get “no-ethanol” gas for the mower. Didn’t want it inside and the packer works ok…
I had expect or actually had hoped , that the tile crew would be back today but that was just wishful thinking on my part. They didn’t get back, we still don’t have a toilet in the right spot , the shower is still not useable, the carpet has not been tacked back at the doors, the mess from the electrician in the attic is still in the closet and ????
We did go to pick up the tile and found they didn’t have enough of the pieces we need? so we had to order new tile for the floor, it will be in ??? maybe tomorrow and maybe Thursday? We may have enough for the walls of the old tile but didn’t get any of the rounded pieces.
I went by and picked up some parts for the tool box in the shop (magnetic socket holders) and ordered new gas struts for the rear window, they should be in tomorrow? Sounds like things will be busy tomorrow? or not?
I had several pictures to take but either no camera or forgot on most of them… beyond that I did some reading to get some of the piled up stuff out of the way.
Tomorrow a friend may come up or may not? that will happen when it happens just like all the other stuff… so tomorrow?…
