Got up a about the normal time. Had the push to do my morning walk today and put in about 3 miles before anyone else even got up. Once that was accomplished I decided to pay myself off and replace all those calories I burned off (plus). So I loaded up and headed to the SpudNut shop on the east side of town.
On my way I noticed this and had to stop to take a look…
1957 Corvette in really fine condition and not restored… appeared to have only 67000 miles on the odometer. Unusual version as it was an automatic. It had been repainted a few times… the current color is blue but it had been yellow at one time and the new owner said he was sure it had been bronze/copper? when original. Now that would be a fun ride to have and in prime condition I am guessing it would be worth a small fortune… oh well, all I can do it look and wish…
The rest of the day was not nearly as interesting.
I got the patch circle of sheet rock in the wall and glued up, now to get some spackling on it and make it look more like the wall so I can paint it.
I took a nap… was way too hot out after noon to do anything of consequence…
Later in the day I “fiddled” with the sprinkler for the front flower beds… appears I have not been watering enough and they are pretty dry and for some reason they were not running at the same strength as they had before? I took out a strainer , messed with the inlet hose and figure I need to get some new ends as I have a leak that could not be stopped and watered the flowers a couple of extra times, that should help them out some… I Hope. Then it was shower and download pictures and get ready for bed… just a great day… wish it was not so damn hot.
