Trip out in the “OUTBACK” today. Did get to see a few things and missed several good photos… the ones missed…
Emu raced across the road in front of us…
several big lizards on the road or crossing it… I was in the back seat…
The things I did see (not totally associated with the work I was doing)…
Actually this is where we are staying but have some in flight from on locations… a type of swallow..
he was not more than 4 ft. away flashing by catching flies… he needs to do a much better job – the flies were terrible…
Coming in at a different angle… above this time..
I know a bad shot… in the sun and no view finder it is hard to center and get a picture that is not fuzzy or off frame… but these guys were everywhere… never have seen hawks grouped together like buzzards flying around in circles or coming in as much as they were here…
There were several of these around as well… something akin to a parrot?
On the way out… this “Dingo” crossed the road in front and looked back, I missed the pictures of the other one waiting back in the brush on the other side… I know… dogs… but they are wild “OUTBACK” dogs here and called DINGO…
Scenic beauty of the outback… looks a lot like the San Luis Valley but no mountains on the edge… just miles ….oooops Kilometers and Kilometers of this stuff…
That was my day out in the OUTBACK… better than the Sahara for scenery…
