Ok, we didn’t do much today …
DIL was up early to prep and put on the brisket. They had bought it earlier in the week and we had planned for today to be the cook day on the new grill.
That was about 8:30 AM….
We had a Men’s game at 12 noon so took off by 11 AM for that. It was a decent game and was a win…
Cowboys Capitalize for 80-66 Win Over WVU
It didn’t start out too “shiny” but they ended in good shape…
We got home after the game and the meat was still cooking… I went to the shop and played Ham Radio… got in several good JT65 contacts on 30 meters…

At about 6PM I was feeling the lack of lunch so came in and the Meat was in the cooler (actually warmer ). I figured out that we needed some additions so went and picked up some things at Wal-Mart for the meat and when I got home DIL had it all cut up…
It sure looked good and had a good flavor but was still a little “tuff”. I think maybe it needs to cook a bit slower and longer? Will have to experiment with that till we get it much better…
I then went back to the ham shack and got in a few more contacts while listening to the Girls BB game on the radio…
They did a fine job tonight and were able to sweep Kansas… just wish they had been able to get past Kansas State last Wednesday night? but oh well and that is our 2 wins… both Men’s and Women’s today… and tie… I call the meat a tie since it was ok but not great… Some things will take more practice…
