OK, a lot has happened since last posting…
Thursday – Got O Miami and then missed my next flight due to time problems… should have been able to catch it but with all the time differences and all the hassle of passport control… missed it, got on a later flight and did get home but not till 11pm… oh well travel.
With that I went to bed, got up, packed a few things and by 10am we were off to Dallas… short turn around. Had to be there in time to pick up Grandson from school at 3pm… made it.. had some nice visiting and nothing exciting… but had to get up early the next day for baseball..
Grandson had a +/- 8am game and they had to be there early to “warm-up”. practice in my day…
They were first on the field so it looked real nice, although the wind was going to be a problem as it was already stout by the time we got there…
Pretty early, no spectators either..
He gets a hit! He scores!
Actually he did pretty well, several hits and several scores…
After the game it was home, and then off to downtown Dallas… about 40 miles away… to try supposedly the best Bar b que…
From the parking lot to the building that had the food, passed several flower vendors… pretty stuff.
Ok, we didn’t get there way too early for this… stood in this line for 90 minutes..

Some people have been here before?
If you get there in time you get plenty… this guy had to have a beef rib… they ran out just about the time we got there… shortly later they were running out of a lot of other stuff…
they warn you they serve till they run out…
After eating the checked out the market… a lot of sign said “Home grown” but I suspect that the home may have been somewhere other than near Dallas…, way too early for a lot of this stuff…
The rest of Saturday was spent lounging in the pool, and doing very little of anything else…
