Today we took a few hours this afternoon to see a few new things here and not just work… it was Sunday anyway… although Sunday here is something different and nearly all the shops are open but more importantly the street vendors are out in force… That said our goal was to walk up ‘”monkey hill” and then get to the top of the hill for the Tang Kuan Hilltop. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Songkhla_Province
We saw the monkeys and the hilltop shrine… interesting..
of course people come to see and vendors set up to sell foods to people that feed the monkeys so they are pretty tame…
multiple prayer places at the top…
Once we finished that we walked down to the beach and tried to get some pictures of the sunset but we were in the wrong place for that… did get some other pictures of ships , and things.
Once back down near the hotel there was a street vendors section and a biker conventions of sorts…
The area was filled with food vendors and other stuff… what a crowd and a Karaoke stage and it was really bad…
It was bad…
That is one heck of a sandwich?

Anything on a stick…
And a double deck place, cook on top and serve underneath… down below there were customers setting to eat…?
At this point I got a cold cup of yogurt with fruit but Carl… was adventurous and got several things we couldn’t identify… normal for Carl… the proverbial Mikey… He will eat anything!
Back to the hotel and crash as there will be another day.
