On Thursday we moved on … up the hill and over to Trinidad from Raton…
In Trinidad we decided to take a little tour… been a long times since we had just gone down town and looked around and it was early and we wanted to see..
So many old cool buildings and a few are for sale… but a lot of them have been renovated and brought back…
The old Firehouse 1 that is now a museum… really cool redo on this one…
notice the name in the bricks… originals made at the brick plant in Trinidad years ago…
A lot of them had old advertising painted on the sides… this probably not real old as compared to the Savoy above…
We also came across some other ?artistic endeavors?…
Once we had seen all we wanted we headed on up the road to Canon… got there about noon and headed to “Big Burger World” as we just had to have a Green Chili Burger and go to the park… it was really good and the park was so peaceful and nice… cool weather for a change as well… After that we made a few stops, then went off in search of the OSU geology camp… since I had found out where it was…
nice place, too bad it is not used more than a couple of months in the summer?

Tough conditions for a school… but interesting..
With that we ended the day with a trip back to BBW… and got a fresh Peach Shake… and it was really really good… and that was dinner…
