Today was the big day for my Nephew and his bride. I took a lot of pictures but that is their life and not something I post on… but in the preparation I got some pictures I can share…
He built that arbor… and it had their names in it..
All from the flowers in the yard…
After the wedding they had a meal… Bar B Que that was really good… and of course the cake and a few toasts… it was a good day… great weather… all those things that come together…
We sat around afterward and I copied off the pictures I took for them to look at later… then as a thing to do in the evening, a few of us had signed up for the Royal Gorge Train…
No that was not our train the one behind was the train…
The purpose of the trip was to travel up the canyon and pass under the highest suspension bridge but unfortunately a wash out had limited the trip to a point that we could see the bridge and not actually pass under it…
On the train leaving the station…
We rode in the bar car and could order snacks and drinks so we did… and looking out the window we could see the train passing way behind… on the train… several coach cars… 2 observation cars… several open cars and the misc. needed cars (Generator and Kitchen car) a couple of dining cars and the murder mystery cars… yep they had a murder mystery on the Saturday night trip… lot of stuff going on in that train…

The reason for the trip… in site but that is about as far as we could go..
And crazy rafters going down the river… yes it was plenty muddy this trip…
That was our day… and tomorrow we hit the road for home…
