Dividend Growth Stocks For The Long-Term

Below are several dividend growth stocks that provide a good mix of yield and growth that result in an 8-10%Yield on Cost (YOC) in 10-years:

Maybe I should be looking a bit harder at this one? 

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (WMT) is the largest retailer in the world, Wal-Mart operates a chain of over 10,000 discount department stores, wholesale clubs, supermarkets and supercenters.
Current Yield: 2.6% | Div. Growth: 13.48% | 10-yr Yield: 9.14%

I have some of this, do I need more?

Microsoft (MSFT), the world’s largest software company, develops PC software, including the Windows operating system and the Office application suite.
Current Yield: 3.3% | Div. Growth: 15.00% | 10-yr Yield: 10.99%

Not sure on this but it or Proctor and Gamble or ? 

General Mills, Inc. (GIS) is a major producer of packaged consumer food products, including Big G cereals and Betty Crocker desserts/baking mixes.
Current Yield: 3.2% | Div. Growth: 10.50% | 10-yr Yield: 8.60%

I have several MLP’s and they pay more but may grow less?  not sure.

Sunoco Logistics Partners (SXL) is a master limited partnership (MLP) that was formed by Sunoco Inc. to acquire, own and operate a group of refined product and crude oil pipelines and terminal facilities.
Current Yield: 3.6% | Div. Growth: 11.15% | 10-yr Yield: 9.70%

I have been told this one is a good payer and maybe it should be added to my list… I have PFE now.

Abbvie Inc. (ABBV) is a global research-based pharmaceuticals business that emerged as a separate entity following its spin-off from Abbott Laboratories at the start of 2013. AbbVie’s key drug is Humira for rheumatoid arthritis.
Current Yield: 3.4% | Div. Growth: 8.93% | 10-yr Yield: 8.04%

Don’t know enough about CLX… study some more but the growth looks good for the yield.

The Clorox Company (CLX) is a diversified producer of household cleaning, grocery and specialty food products is also a leading producer of natural personal care products.
Current Yield: 3.5% | Div. Growth: 8.78% | 10-yr Yield: 8.08%

Again, I have several MLP’s in both production and transportation pipelines , etc…

Magellan Midstream Partners LP (MMP) is engaged in the transportation, storage and distribution of refined petroleum products primarily through its 9,600-mile pipeline system.
Current Yield: 3.8% | Div. Growth: 8.11% | 10-yr Yield: 8.01%

I had some of this and all it did was go down after I bought… till it hit my lose limit and I got out…? not sure I want back in for that lower yield.

Aqua America Inc. (WTR) is the second largest publicly traded water utility based in the U.S., serving nearly three million people in nine states.
Current Yield: 2.5% | Div. Growth: 7.64% | 10-yr Yield: 8.13%

Know nothing about this.

W. P. Carey Inc. (WPC) is an investment firm that provides long-term sale-leaseback and build-to-suit transactions for companies worldwide and manages a global investment portfolio.
Current Yield: 5.2% | Div. Growth: 5.04% | 10-yr Yield: 8.12%

Had some, sold some on broker recommendation that the growth was over…

Realty Income Corporation (O) is an equity real estate investment trust that owns commercial retail real estate properties in the United States.
Current Yield: 5.5% | Div. Growth: 4.12% | 10-yr Yield: 8.20%

 

Just reading and looking at things I should be focused on…
