Just another work day, although there are always things that make it different. The day started normal…although it was damn cold out…
Yep they had a fountain and it ran all night so the edges all were really thick with ice… after breakfast we were off to the facility for meetings and work on future needs…
At noon there was a need for something different and one of the guys had complained he had a bad hamburger earlier this week so we took him 5-Guys… In my opinion it is better than Smash Burger. The fries are fresh, large and plenty… the burger is juicy and plenty… top that with free peanuts… good stuff…

Then I got bad news… family issue we knew was coming but felt it was a ways off…
The evening came quick and we had a gathering with some other friends to have dinner at an old favorite, in a new location…
The Boiling Point was a place I went to back in the 90’s when I came here but it was in a shack (maybe two double wides pushed together back then… they now have new diggs… and decent boiled seafood… never have tried the fried or other stuff… ha!… as strange as it seems when they started taking orders we all went for the boiled shrimp and not the MudBugs…
The start was with a cup… damn big cup… of seafood gumbo…

That is how they started….
This is how they ended… and that was my day… I got my plans changed but won’t get out as early as I wanted… headed home in the morning…
