There are many things that are both Good and Bad about having the “Spiderweb” top on the Jeep and pulling the half top off…
I got the one that runs all the way back over the back seat and drops down half way on the roll cage in the back if you take the full top off… but in my case I fold back the last portion so it only sets on the top of the roll bars… but I have the front top removed…
and this is how it should look if I take the whole top off..
Ok the Good and Bad of this…
The Good is it stops 90% of harmful UF rays…the Bad is that it still lets a lot of sun in and you need a hat most times to shade your eyes…
The Good is your open to the elements… The Bad is they come right on through that mess…
The Good is it to it allows the wind to flow through but not too much… The Bad is the air conditioner doesn’t work real good with the top off but better than No-top.
The Good is you can hear all those things outside you miss with the windows closed… The Bad thing is you hear all those things you could have gone without…
The Good is you can smell that BarBQue in the yards you pass or the burgers at the local grill or other great food smells,,, the Bad is you catch all those other smells, feedlots, dumps, and Heavy Smokers that should roll their windows up tight cause that stuff is dead bad…
The Good is it makes you look cool and you get waved at… The Bad is when they see how old your are the try to pull that wave back….
I have only driven a few days with the tops off and the mess in place… much better than no mess… and I am sure I will find more Good and Bad things to deal with as I continue to use my new additions…
Oh and the Ugly… the driver…
