It was a slow day today… sometimes it has to be cause I am retired…
I had biscuits for breakfast thanks to my lovey wife… and the Whopping Can company they came from!…
I read the Sunday Paper… for what it was worth (not much)… wonder why I keep paying for that rag?
I sat on the back deck cause it was nice and cool this morning… enjoyed that a lot…
We went to lunch and then took a drive out east… wanted to locate a friends house … we didn’t or maybe we did but couldn’t tell? oh well!
Went by these critical pieces of local interest…
It was closed today cause no one was taking tickets…and think they may be in a summer repair schedule?
At first I thought it was the Twin Jackass farm but I was wrong it was only a Half-ass farm cause it says so… and I am not sure they know there luck is running out cause you are suppose to put up horse shoes with the ends pointed up so your luck doesn’t run out… Old timers tale but they may not be old enough?
We got home and proceeded to do a lot more of what we did earlier… and then I had a call from a friend that was not going to make our Sunday Ham radio sked due to illness, and I called a cousin I haven’t talked to in months (she lives in Florida)… caught up on things going on both ways , then I played on the radio a little, made a couple of contacts and got a call from my sister so we talked about family business and monkey business… both kind of the same thing…
I didn’t post this from Saturdays drive but how are you really going to know it is exactly 23 miles per hour? why not 22 or 24?
So that was my Sunday… just the most interesting stuff being done here… At least I don’t get up in the morning and talk to my coffee cup..? Yea, I don’t drink coffee either. caused your toes to turn black…
