Was a slow day today… I spent much of the morning working paperwork for various things… went to town just before noon, had a letter that needed to be mailed and tracked… got that done and picked up some sandwiches for lunch… wife was home with bad headache today… Got those home and then spent the afternoon piddling with more paperwork and various things…
Well they tracked us down… the NTTA (North Texas Turnpike Authority) tracked us down for using the toll way back in May and Nov of 2013 and sent us a bill for those… a bit late in my books but hey, if they send a bill then the next time they can stop us for something and we are law breakers? so guess I will have to pay that $5.52… how they have such odd charges? anyway at some point the Oklahoma toll tag is supposed to be good for the NTTA… I understand it is good for the Kansas pikes now or maybe the Frist of Sept? guess I might find out at some point…
We were exciting for dinner tonight as I had a coupon of BOGO at Sonic so we went there for dinner and picked up a couple of Burgers and a couple $0.50 corndogs… I had not paid much attention to the pickup that parked next to us but when we backed out…
Notice the cap on the top of the pickup… I think it was for a pickup but ? delivery? maybe? I think the corndogs were cheaper than the pizza?
Also, earlier this week I caught this..
Indicates it is close to dove season… when they start collecting and flying in groups they are ready to move on and that means season opens soon… I used to hunt them but haven’t in a really long time…
