Yesterday was a day to send off my State income taxes… no reason to hold them any longer as the bill was pretty small, on them… and I wasn’t going to pay $25 to efile and pay the stay 3 times that? expensive method for that part. So took them to post office and mailed… I never use the local mailbox for anything with a check or important… in fact, I don’t use my local box to mail stuff out at all… I am almost always going by the Post Office or a sub office and can just drop it off… safer method.
I also had a bunch of things to get set up, changed and moved… I failed horribly as I only got one thing moved but it saved m me substantially on my upcoming trip so that was good. I suppose I will spend all that savings and more in getting some of my other appointments moved and changed.
It was a nice day to get some things done… but about the only thing other than appointments and such that I did was get the drip systems back in working order and set to run on the flower beds. Last night we had a great sunset..
and this morning as I was returning from my visit to the lab (Doctors always need more samples of something)… it was foggy…
The fog was patchy as you could see a good distance then hit a bank and see nothing and there were people driving in that with no lights??? accidents waiting to happen!
I was going over the pictures of the weekend and found I had missed a couple from Saturday…
The reason we make long trips for short time…
He is like is cousin… buttons and moving things and watches are very important to him…
While we were in Canon City Saturday (had to make a trip for the green chili burger and time in the park)… we first went downtown so Sherrie could check out the yarn shop and talk to the ladies there… if we were up there, she would be in there 3 or 4 times a week if not every day…? I on the other hand grabbed a few photos outsiode… the poor old St Cloud hotel… it is on the registry of historical buildings… but is struggling to remain a viable building… Some think it is haunted? and here… and it has set empty for some time, but according to the first link they are in the process of restoration… supposedly they have the roof fixed to stop further deterioration… but it still looks pretty run down… All I can say is downtown Canon needs a boost? not sure what it would take to get that done but a lot of the buildings were empty and for rent..
well, back to todays list of things I need to get on..
