Of all the notices I get, that was one of the ones that kind of “IRKED” me. I am not in it for “get the most followers” or “follow the most “ type goals… NOTICE: I follow who I want , usually because I know them, I like to read their stuff, and most of it probably is original stuff…. the ones that do a million re-tweets but seldom have an original thought, or those that “share” multiple crap on Facebook, etc.… are those I just don’t follow… in fact a lot of them get put in the “see less of” category if I have friended or followed… and if the load gets too high, I quietly “unfriend” or “follow”. sorry that is my opinion on social media and that is how I work it… Don’t be upset if I have not friended you, or not followed you… it probably was because I did a small check and didn’t see anything there that interested me…
Well, on the other end of things I did almost the same things today I did yesterday… cause I haven’t finished it yet… I did get going this morning and made my trip to the gym… some reps on the weight machines…
some stretching and 2 miles on a 5 percent grade at 4pmh… that will get things pumping (for and old man)… Then had to reset the weather station uploads… they got moved in the website stuff but did get that going, had to adjust down the updates some… hope they are about right now… Had lunch at the Cherokee Strip BBQ… prices keep going up and customers are down but the food is still pretty good…
This afternoon I worked on some plans, getting some patterns made for a new aluminum can airplane… no I didn’t design it, I got the plans from someone else but I still have to get all the patterns made, and gather up some extra parts… I was going to get a set of LED lights ready to go out but instead spent most of my free time scrapping out some caulk from the shower that was the wrong color… hope to get the proper color in tomorrow and let that dry good. I also got a package in the mail… from Thailand!… I had ordered (via Amazon) some extra staples for a mini stapler… one small box of a few thousand staples… about the size of a good eraser… and it came all the way from Thailand…
not sure how they can make money on that but it is their business… and just took a week to get here.
I also made a survey of the yard and mental list (easier to loose) of things I need to get done out there… found the little Japanese pines are still putting on the cones… I have two of them and they both are really putting on cones.
so it was just another exciting day here…at least the sun was shining, even if the north wind was a tad bit cool…
Oh and forgot this picture of the other day… students moving out and putting the excess out on the street for pickup… anyone need an orange couch or what ever that is?
heck the chairs look better than some we (Sherrie and I) had when we first moved out of here and took with us cause that is all we had… kids today just don’t value the good stuff anymore!
