We are visiting with the Grandsons #1 and #2… filling in for Daughter while she had a small medical procedure (I guess it was small – outpatient). We got to take them to school today and pick them up… sure glad that is a young persons job… not sure how long I could handle that much running and doing and such…
On the way down yesterday we got to the north edge of Edmond and I-35 was backing up like a parking lot… sooooo se got off and figured to take a loop around the stoppage but found the off was worse than the on… oh well we weren’t in a big hurry so it all worked out ok… on our loop, spotted this…
I am not sure what she is advertising but am sure it was a female… what you can’t read is “real chicks drive sticks” and other such but the “Spank Me”… ?
The rest of the trip was mostly uneventful… just a drive down… got here and it started to rain… it has rained, drizzled and been wet every since… such fun…
The GS#1 had an assembly this morning and his class had to sing… not sure he will be a star at this but they did pretty good…
As they get the kids all seated in the “auditorium”… what is this… when I was in school my teachers wouldn’t be caught dead wearing that… and they didn’t let us do it either unless we were in the show… but my teachers were all …. Grandmothers… ha!
It was a bit loud in there… can you imagine hundreds of little kids all under the age of 10 or 11 all needing to talk to the one on the other side of the room…?
Any way they got started and the singers got up front…
I would make a comment that the one of the lower left had an idea it was not going to be pretty but that was GS#1… maybe his nose itched…yea that’s it, company was coming and we were there…
oh we have been spotted…
I captured a little of what I thought might be the music but the noise is overpowering…
After this we delivered GS#2 to Spanish School… yes at this age it is great they can do and be totally immersed in nothing but Spanish and actually pick up some of the words… easier to learn at 2 than 60…
We then had a late breakfast , rested up and then went to pick up GS#2 at his school at 2pm and home and GS#1 got home a little later … the usual… snacks… play… then dinner and there Mom got home from hospital, was tired but looking ok and so were we… got another big day tomorrow… Hockey games all day…
