Contrast is the word for most of Colorado and especially the “middle” high country… One day it is snowing like crazy and blizzard conditions and a few days later it is… well …
Same front path as …
3 days from big drifts to warm enough to be out working on the front lights.
I had purchased a light sensor to turn off the front garage lights in daylight and on at night. We had already swapped out for LED bulbs to cut down to almost nothing the power they use but no reason to leave them on all day? So I got a small sensor and Ryan and I got it mounted in one of the big light housings (we have 3 on the front of the garage). It fit nicely up in the top as the bulbs are pretty low in the unit and the eye points out fine… we tested it and it does turn them on and off so hope that works, time will tell or rather dark will tell… ha!
Each of these boxes has 2 small candle type lights (no they don’t flicker but if we find some ?) the black knob looking thing is the “magic eye” that should turn them on and off daylight to dark or dark to daylight? So we got one small project done. Still have hundreds more to get done like motion lights and security cameras installed. But I need warmer weather to work outside so not much happens till it is warm like today.
