Well, last week was great in the mid 60’s to 70’s. Great time to be out, wait we were supposed to stay home… well we did – sort of.. We did venture out a couple of times to get supplies… and stretch our vision. If I don’t do something like that I get pretty short tempered… So when I feel it coming on I go out and walk… a good 4 mile trip around the neighborhood does wonders… for me… When it warms back up I may try to expand that a bit? Anyway, yes the WX swapped directions again… from last week in the 70’s to yesterday and today in the 20’s… and snow and cold and blah, blah, blah.
Friday we made a trip to town to get something different, takeout chinese… on the way home the storm predicted was in the “warm” stages and building up some rain clouds that didn’t rain but looked cool..
I was driving back and saw this but couldn’t get a really good picture so this will have to do…
Then yesterday I cooked all day long… well to be truthful it was just a couple hours in the afternoon… First up I made a really big skillet of Biorox (cabbage pockets) filler (cabbage, onion, ground beef and a bit of seasoning).
Now we need the bread dough to put that into???? I also put a nice ham in the instapot and let that warm, and coat with a seasoning mix that came with it… side note, it was ok but not as good as the ham I fixed back last November so I will go back to making my own glaze (much better)… but the ham turned out ok and we had some fresh asparagus I got at the store when I went to get the onion and check the TP row… got some TP as well… taking care of both ends you know…
Sherrie whipped up some blueberry muffins to go with the ham.
Since I cant get out or don’t really want to fight it I have, finally, moved a little further on my next airplane. I am attempting to step out to a B25. I am really not sure how it will turn out. The first of any new model is really slow as I need to figure out how the cans and designs all fit together so it doesn’t look like a mess with designs running in all directions… oh well I have a start anyway… got a lot of the pieces cut for the first attempt..
I hope it looks better once I get some more ‘”skin” on it.
On to what it is outside… the snow flakes are really big this time and float down really slow… especially with very little wind..
Interesting how they can stack up so well..
and now… they are big enough I can get shots, through my office window of them on the bush outside..
So it appears this cold, snowy weather will be with us most of the week. not heavy snow, just enough to be interesting and slowing… easier to |”stay at home” in this type weather.
