I was going through my “hobby” reading and found an article that I thought was damn cool. The Amateur Radio Theory of Everything? In it K3NG, who has a really nice blog and if your into Ham Radio you should check it out, was comparing interest in our “hobby” as needing a “MacGyver concept”. He actually got that idea from KE9V. The whole thing is we must all have a little MacGyver in us to keep that interest alive. No matter what part of Ham Radio you really get into you, whether is it Contesting, QRP, digital, building, designing, or just “ragchew” you have to have a little of that “make it up as you go” and “if the rules don’t fit change
